The REDMAGIC 12 Pro has officially launched in Malaysia, bringing with it the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, an industry-first 185Hz under-display true full-screen display, and next-generation RGB liquid cooling technology.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 packs Oryon CPU cores with clock speeds of up to 5.0GHz, making it among the fastest mobile chips today; in the REDMAGIC 12 Pro, it works alongside Energy Cube 4.0, the RedCore R5 gaming chip and a G1 display control chip to handles features like touch optimization, lighting control, rendering acceleration, super-resolution and frame generation technologies.
The AquaCore Cooling System 3.0 combines dual-loop liquid cooling, a 25,500 RPM blower fan, an enhanced vapor chamber and Liquid Metal 4.0. Based on fan feedback, the liquid cooling system now has RGB lighting, too. A new dual-crystal micro-pump produces up to 130kPa of pressure, 85% higher than the previous generation, while drawing as little as 20mW.
The fan has a labyrinth dust-resistant design and a reinforced shaft that REDMAGIC says improves durability by 30%. The redesigned vapor chamber has a zero-fill-port, zero-dead-zone structure, which increases the effective cooling area by 15% and thermal conductivity by 50%. Liquid Metal 4.0 uses an embedded copper-foil composite to keep stable contact with the processor.
The 6.85-inch 1.5K BOE X11 display runs at 185Hz, which REDMAGIC describes as an industry first for an under-display full-screen design. The ninth-generation under-display camera hides the front camera beneath the screen, and the bezels measure 0.96mm; peak brightness reaches 1,900 nits globally and 5,000 nits locally. A Synaptics touch chip supports an instantaneous touch sampling rate of up to 5,000Hz and an average of up to 500Hz. The display also supports wet-hand touch and holds SGS Eye Care Certification.
The 8,400mAh battery is 12% larger than the 7,500mAh unit in the REDMAGIC 11 Pro, and the body is 8.5mm thick instead of 8.9mm – we imagine silicon content is likely increased, which improves battery’s energy density, to make this happen. Charging reaches 80W for both wired and wireless charging, and for gamers, there’s also bypass charging to keep heat away from peak performance.
The phone has IP68 and IP69 ratings, while the turbo fan area carries a separate IPX8 rating. Other features include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, dual SIM, NFC with Google Pay, an infrared blaster and Wi-Fi 7. The rear cameras are a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization and a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and the front camera is 16MP. For audio and controls, the phone has dual symmetrical speaker chambers with Dolby Atmos certification, an X-axis linear motor and 520Hz shoulder triggers.

The REDMAGIC 12 Pro goes on sale in Malaysia on 10 November 2026 at 8pm through the Shopee REDMAGIC Official Store and the REDMAGIC Official Website. It comes in Nightfreeze (Transparent Black) and Subzero (Transparent Silver), with the same prices for both colors. The 12+256GB model costs RM4,499, the 16+512GB model costs RM4,999, and the 16GB+1TB model costs RM5,899.
