Acer unveiled new additions to its gaming and display lineups at the next@acer press conference in Berlin as part of IFA 2026 show. The announcements featured the 7-inch Predator Atlas 7 gaming handheld, a dual-purpose concept device named Project DualPlay Mini, and several gaming monitors including a 1000Hz Full HD display.
Predator Atlas 7 & Project DualPlay Mini Concept
The Predator Atlas 7 (PA07-I51) shrinks the form factor of the previous 8-inch model into a 7-inch design, meaning it remains powered by up to an Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor with Intel Arc B390 graphics. It’s got an 80Wh battery which should last reasonably long away from the wall socket, while cooling involves a dual-fan setup featuring a 0.1 mm, 89-blade metal AeroBlade fan alongside a secondary fan using Vortex Flow ducting.
The handheld includes a 7-inch FHD 120Hz touchscreen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with DXC, which also has the benefit of reduced reflections and glare; control inputs feature contoured grips, optional tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) joysticks, Hall-effect triggers, and a power-button fingerprint sensor. Connectivity covers dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, UHS-II microSD expansion slot, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.
Alongside the handheld, Acer showcased Project DualPlay Mini, an 8-inch concept device designed for gaming and work, apparently. Its flip-and-swivel chassis allows the unit to convert between a handheld controller layout and a mini-laptop configuration (a la early GPD Win handhelds) with a physical backlit keyboard. The concept uses an Intel processor, dual-fan cooling, and features Morse code on the rear cover commemorating Acer’s 50th anniversary.
High-Refresh & Mini LED Display Lineup
Acer expanded its monitor lineup across three product families, led by the 24.5-inch Predator XB253Q U – this display reaches a 1000Hz refresh rate at Full HD resolution, utilizing proprietary Visual Response Boost Pro blur-reduction technology alongside AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility. Despite being an esports-first monitor, it’s also got VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification for HDR content as well.
Other models introduced include 31.5-inch Predator X32 V3 4K 180Hz QD-OLED monitor, the 27-inch Predator XB273K V7 featuring 4K 160 Hz or FHD 500Hz via Dynamic Frequency and Resolution (DFR) switching. The Nitro series introduces the 5K XV275X P monitor with 2304 Mini LED zones, the curved 34-inch XZ340CKR P, and the XV275U Z2 and XV270U Z3 models offering refresh rates up to 520Hz. For professional workloads, the 27-inch ProDesigner PE270X P delivers 5K 165Hz / 2K 330Hz resolutions with 2304-zone Mini LED panel and DisplayHDR 1400 certification.
Regional rollouts for the Predator Atlas 7 begin in EMEA in November 2026 and North America in the fourth quarter of 2026, while monitor availability spans from late 2026 through the first half of 2027 across global markets.
