Acer introduces the Predator Triton Neo 16 (PTN16-51) gaming laptop, featuring the latest Intel Core Ultra processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs. That being said, the company hasn’t specified which Core Ultra chip it’ll be running on, but there are clues.

The Predator Triton Neo 16 integrates a 5th Gen AeroBlade fan and liquid metal applied on the CPU, and the chip in question is Intel’s Core Ultra H-Series (we’re guessing the Core Ultra 9 185H could be the most likely candidate). It’ll come with the usual AI stuff and Intel Application Optimization – previously exclusive to Intel 14th Gen desktop CPUs; meanwhile, the NVIDIA RTX 4070 Laptop GPU is responsible for graphics duty.

Display options consist of two choices, with up to a 3.2K, 100% DCI-P3, 165Hz, 16:10 Calman-verified display available as the premium option. The I/O includes HDMI, USB-C (Thunderbolt 4), and a Micro SD card reader; as far as RGB goes, this relatively svelte gaming laptop comes with a 3-zone keyboard lighting, customizable through the PredatorSense app.

The gaming laptop will be available in North America and EMEA in March 2024, with prices starting at USD 1499.99 and EUR 1799, respectively. Again – no mentions of Asian launch dates so far, so we’ll have to wait, for now.

Pokdepinion: Core Ultra 9 with IAO could be an interesting case, from what we know already in 14th Gen chips.
