ASUS Announces New ROG Gaming Laptops In Malaysia, Plus ROG Edition 20 Lineup Availability

ASUS Malaysia has announced the local availability of its new ROG gaming laptops, following last month’s debut of its refreshed ROG Zephyrus models; alongside new gaming laptops, the company is also showcasing its new ROG Edition 20 lineup, which features special commemorative designs and exclusive features in select models.

New ROG Zephyrus Duo & ROG Strix Laptops

The new ASUS ROG 2026 gaming laptop lineup includes the all-new ROG Zephyrus Duo, along with refreshes of ROG Strix SCAR 18, ROG Strix G16 and ROG Strix G18 models.

Starting with the new ROG Zephyrus Duo, it features two 16-inch 3K 120Hz ROG Nebula HDR OLED touchscreen displays, both of which are certified with DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification; the primary display also supports NVIDIA G-SYNC for its variable refresh rate support. The laptop includes a detachable magnetic keyboard that can operate wirelessly through Bluetooth. ASUS states that the combined display area exceeds 21 inches diagonally.

For the heavyweights, the updated ROG Strix SCAR 18 is equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, with a combined system power of 320W, with 175W allocated to the flagship NVIDIA laptop GPU. For the ROG Strix G16 and Strix G18, both also feature Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processors across most configurations, with a range of mid-range RTX GPU available.

On the flip side, there’s a small update on the ROG Zephyrus G14 lineup that was announced last month. It is now only available with Intel Core Ultra 386H configurations – the cheapest variant which came with AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 at RM13,999 is no more, meaning RM17,999 is the new starting price if you’re looking to get the new 14-inch chassis.

Finally, ASUS also provided an update on its TUF Gaming lineup: the new TUF Gaming 16 will arrive in Q3 2026, featuring Intel Raptor Lake processor paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs, along with an updated chassis design that further simplifies this laptop’s once-rigid looks.

ROG Edition 20 Hardware Lineup

ASUS also brought its Edition 20 lineup in Malaysia, starting with the ROG Crosshair X870E Edition 20 which serves as the flagship motherboard in the collection. It is paired with the ROG Ryujin 360 Edition 20 liquid cooler, and the same system can be also matched with ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Edition 20 that, unlike standard ROG Astral variants, also features a curved AMOLED display onboard. Completing the full ROG Edition 20 build, there’s the ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20 power supply, and the ROG GR20 Edition 20 open-frame chassis to show off all gold-accented components.

Outside of the desktop PC build, there’s several products getting the Edition 20 treatment, including the ROG NUC 16 Edition 20 small-form-factor PC, ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-G Edition 20 26.5-inch gaming monitor, ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro Edition 20 router, ROG Azoth Extreme Edition 20 mechanical keyboard, and ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 gaming mouse. Additionally, there’s the ROG Keycap Mystery Box Edition 20, which is a Labubu-style blind box that contains special keycap designs; the ROG SLASH apparel series also featured its Hard-case Luggage and Backpack for the Edition 20 treatment.

ASUS Malaysia said selected products purchased during the pre-order period are eligible for limited-edition anniversary merchandise. Buyers of the ROG Azoth Extreme Edition 20, ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20, ROG NUC 16 Edition 20, ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-G Edition 20 and ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro Edition 20 can redeem a limited-edition ROG 20th Anniversary Touch ‘n Go card. If you’re feeling lucky, getting the ROG Logo Special Edition keycap from the ROG Keycap Mystery Box Edition 20 will qualify you to redeem a free ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 mouse.

Meanwhile, the Edition 20 desktop bundle consists of the ROG Crosshair X870E Edition 20 with ROG Ryujin 360 Edition 20, ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Edition 20, ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20 and ROG GR20 Edition 20. The company notes that this bundle must also include the ROG Azoth Extreme Edition 20, ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 and ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-G Edition 20 – users who purchase the bundle will be able to get the aforementioned TnG card, as well as ROG Gift Box that features exclusive merchandise.
