HP Malaysia Launches New Products Designed for the Creators of Tomorrow

At a livestreamed event today, HP Malaysia has launched a few new products catered to the creators of tomorrow. Those new products are the HP ZBook Create, ENVY x360, and the DeskJet Plus Ink Advantage 6000 Series. There is also a Creators of Tomorrow Mentorship Project in collaboration with homegrown talent Yuna and KL Fashion Week happening as well.

HP ZBook Create

The HP ZBook Create is said to be the world’s smallest 15-inch laptop designed for both creation and gaming, giving you power on-the-go. It comes with the company’s award-winning DreamColor display and up to 17.5 hours of battery life.

As for the components, you can choose between either Intel Xeon or Intel Core for the CPU, and NVIDIA Quadro or NVIDIA GeForce for graphics, allowing you to choose the hardware that will be more suitable for your needs. As for thermals, it is said to have a new vapor cooling chamber and liquid crystal polymer to ensure that the machine will be able to run at its best at all times.

This new laptop is available now on the official HP Store, Lazada, and Shopee, with prices starting from RM11,236.

HP Envy x360

If you’re looking for an AMD-powered laptop, then the HP ENVY x360 might just be the one for you. Powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 4000-series CPU with Radeon Vega graphics, it has a multi-touch enabled microedge display with edge-to-edge Corning Gorilla Glass NBT, HP Stylus Pen support with improved latency and sensitivity, and supposedly lengthy battery life.

This new laptop is currently available on the official HP Store, Lazada, and Shopee, with prices starting from RM3,799. All ENVY 2020 laptops will come with free pre-installed Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019 as well as 2 Years of Accidental Damage Protection. HP’s Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) is designed to protect your laptop against any accidental damage. Here are some examples of accidents that are covered under this package:

• The system suffers a fall and the LCD screen cracks.
• Accidental coffee spill which results in the system being inoperable.
• A power surge during a lightning storm

HP DeskJet Plus Ink Advantage 6000 Series

The HP DeskJet Plus Ink Advantage 6000 series of printers let you print colours up to 4800×1200 optimized dpi colour and 1200×1200 rendered dpi black output. This allows you to present rich black texts and bright graphics for everyday documents and photos. Available in white, It is said to offer an effortless printing experience with intuitive and guided interactions and comes with smart buttons that only appear when needed.

For added convenience, you also have the HP Smart App for Android, iOS, Windows 10, and MacOS. With the app, you can scan, share, and print even when you are physically away from the printer. You can also receive notifications when printing and scanning jobs are complete, or when ink is running low. The Self-Healing Wi-Fi fixes ensures your printer is always connected.

The new series of printers are currently available now on the HP official store, Lazada, and Shopee, with prices starting from RM459.

Creators of Tomorrow Mentorship Project

Apart from the new products, there is also a Creators of Tomorrow Mentorship Project, which is done in collaboration with Yuna and KL Fashion Week. The aim of the project is to equip young creators with the necessary tools to empower their creativity. To join, you will have to submit samples of your creative work through the Mentorship Project contest. Those who are chosen will then be able to join exclusive workshops hosted by Yuna herself.

For the upcoming generation of fashion designers, HP is also collaborating with Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week to discover the next generation of talented designers. With a theme of sustainability this year, 10 young designers will be selected to create a “conscious collection” of outfits which will be featured at KLFW Digital 2020.
