New Apple iPhone SE to have 5G support debuting March 2022

In late 2021, there was news circulating about the iPhone SE 2022 including 5G support, as well as embodying the classic iPhone design and having the Touch ID-based Home Button. That rumour is seemingly true as recently, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg shared that the newest iPhone SE will have all of the aforementioned features and more.

According to him, the new handset features “5G network, an improved camera and a faster processor.” Set in the classic iPhone style with a 4.7-inch LCD display and Touch ID Home Button, the processor used will be the A15 Bionic chip, keeping it up to par as the same chip is used in the current iPhone 13 lineup.

Whilst we see the current model having only 64GB and 128GB options, it is rumoured that Apple might set the minimum storage on the new iPhone SE to 128GB instead.

Additionally, Apple might also release a new low-cost iPad at the upcoming Apple event in March. That might mean that there is a new iPad Air to be unveiled with a more powerful processor and also 5G support.

The debut of the new iPhone SE is predicted to be around 8th March 2022.
