Some early adopters of the Apple iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max have reportedly faced a camera rattling issue, specifically when 3rd party apps are using the camera. This includes the likes of Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat. To be precise, some are just camera shakes while others are outright rattling with a very concerning sound.
In case you are wondering, it doesn’t happen when using the default camera app so it’s not to say that the cameras are unusable. The culprit behind the issue is likely some form of software bug that handles the new sensor shift image stabilization technology, and it doesn’t affect the non-Pro models and they use an older version of it.
For now, it would be best to not use 3rd party apps that involve the use of the camera for both the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max until an update containing a fix rolls out. Not only would any visuals be too blurry to use, you could risk damaging the camera module itself with continued use.
Pokdepinion: I hope the update comes in time before the Malaysian release, and I’m sure the developers are hard at work trying to get a fix out as quickly as possible.
