OPPO has officially launched the A7 Pro Series smartphones in Malaysia, introducing two new mid-range models: the A7 Pro 5G and the A7 Pro Max 5G. The former is available in Surfing Blue, Shine Titanium, and Bloom Pink colors, while the latter is available in Surfing Blue and Lunar Black finishes.
OPPO A7 Pro Series Now Available
On the front, the OPPO A7 Pro features a 6.57-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display with a 92.8% screen-to-body ratio and up to 1,400 nits peak brightness, while the OPPO A7 Pro Max has a bigger 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED that peaks at 1,800 nits. Chipset-wise, they feature different hardware: the Pro gets MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX, while Pro Max gets Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 instead. Both features a dedicated NetworkBoost Chip S1 that improves connectivity signals.
Behind, you’ll see the design following the latest design trends (wink wink), with the Pro using a 1/2-inch CMOS main sensor that absorbs 70% more light than its predecessor, while Pro Max adds OIS on top of that. Said model also gets a color LED in the camera bump for displaying notifications. On the flip side, both models are equipped with a 50MP ultrawide selfie cameras with a 100-degree field of view, which automatically detects the number of subjects in frame and shifts between 1x and 0.6x zoom.
The OPPO A7 Pro carries an 8,000mAh battery rated to retain over 80% capacity after 2,000 full charge cycles, with a projected 6-year lifespan; the OPPO A7 Pro Max goes further with a 10,000mAh battery that retains over 80% capacity after 1,500 cycles, with 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge capable of a full charge in approximately 91 minutes. Both phones are built with up to IP69K water and dust resistance ratings.
The OPPO A7 Pro 5G is available in two configurations: 6+256GB and 8+256GB, starting from RM1,699; the A7 Pro Max 5G (8+256GB) is priced at RM2,499. Both are available now through all OPPO Malaysia official and authorized distribution channels.
