Marshall has expanded its tribute to Jimi Hendrix with the launch of three new Hendrix 60th Anniversary Edition products, covering the Major V headphones, the Emberton III portable speaker, and the Acton III Bluetooth speaker.
The limited-edition lineup draws from the cosmic imagery, psychedelic color palette, and distinct visual identity woven throughout Hendrix’s music and creative world. The collection is available in Malaysia through local distributor ASH Asia.

The Hendrix 60th Anniversary Edition Major V on-ear headphones arrive in a sleek black finish elevated with psychedelic graphics and Hendrix-inspired details throughout. A purple oil-on-water design flows across the inner headband and ear cups, while the all-seeing eye motif, drawn from Hendrix’s fascination with the third eye and expanded vision, appears as a recurring visual element.
The Emberton III carries the same purple oil-on-water design across its silicone sleeve and grille – each unit’s silicone sleeve is hand-dipped using a water transfer print process, making every piece entirely unique. The all-seeing eye appears in silver on the media jog, accompanied by purple LEDs.
Lastly, the Acton III takes a different aesthetic direction, inspired by Hendrix’s love of velvet, silver jewellery, and his fascination with space and science fiction. The speaker is coated in crushed velvet, with a silver control panel featuring purple knobs and purple LED lights; the all-seeing eye is stamped in silver onto the side of the unit. Marshall notes that the Acton III’s startup experience draws from a selection of Hendrix recordings, including a rare instrumental.
Alongside the three consumer products, Marshall has also produced a limited-edition amplifier stack as part of the Hendrix 60th Anniversary collection. Built from quality plywood and wrapped in black Tolex, the stack features a black and purple psychedelic pattern across the fret and control panel, a purple LED indicator, and intricate silver beading woven throughout the knobs, handle, logo, grille, and back panel.
