ROG Phone 6D, 6D Ultimate and BATMAN Edition Announced Today

ROG today announces the latest versions of its Phone 6 lineup, the 6D series powered by MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9000+ SoC with GameCool 6 cooling system for unmatched gaming performance.

Both variants largely share the same specifications otherwise – with all models utilizing a 6.78-inch 165Hz HDR10+ AMOLED display with 720Hz touch sampling rate, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB internal storage, 6000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. All existing accessories supporting the vanilla Phone 6 models will maintain compatibility across the board.

New and exclusive for the Dimensity-powered models however, aside from the SoC itself, is the new AeroActive Portal heat dissipation channel reserved for 6D Ultimate. This opens up the “door” at the side of the device for additional heat dissipation surfaces to allow compatible coolers such as AeroActive Cooler 6 to directly cool the fins exposed to the cooler, increasing thermal efficiency by 20%.

Aside from 6D and 6D Ultimate, ROG has teamed up with Warner Bros and DC to release the ROG Phone 6 BATMAN Edition with accompanying Batman-themed accessories and designs, including a special paint finish, Aura RGB with Bat emblem, custom ROG UI interface with exclusive live wallpapers, icons, animations, sound effects and more.

Also included is a Bat-Signal Projector, a miniaturised replica of the famous searchlight seen in the film; a special Batman Aero Case, and a special SIM ejector pin which received the full Batman treatment. All accessories can be stored with the included custom water-resistant storage case.

This model will be powered by both Snapdragon and MediaTek variants based on the standard models, with 8+ Gen 1 and Dimensity 9000+ SoCs respectively.
