vivo T1 Series Gaming Phones Launches in Malaysia with Affordable Prices

The vivo T1 series of smartphones has been launched in Malaysia. It consists of value-oriented gaming phones powered by Snapdragon chips that everyone can enjoy without breaking the bank. To be precise, it’s the 5G-enabled vivo T1 and the vivo T1x.

Starting off with the vivo T1 5G, it sports a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate support. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 778G with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which is cooled down by a built-in vapour chamber cooling system. Apart from that, it features side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual nanoSIM, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 4700mAh battery, and 66W fast charging.

As for the camera, it uses a triple camera setup on the rear which consists of a 64MP wide angle camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The selfie camera on the other hand is a 16MP wide angle shooter.

Moving on to the more affordable vivo T1x, it has a larger 6.58-inch FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. It’s mostly the same as it’s sibling, with the exception of a Snapdragon 680 chip, a bigger 5,000mAh battery, and 18W fast charging instead. As for the cameras, the selfie is practically the same but the triple camera setup consists of a 50MP wide angle camera, 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro camera.

Both the vivo T1 5G and vivo T1x can be purchased on the official e-store, Shopee store, and Lazada store with special promotional prices starting from RM1,249 and RM649 respectively from now until 8th May 2022. After the promotional period, the retail prices for each device will start at RM1,299 and RM699 respectively instead.

Pokdepinion: This looks to be a promising device for those who prioritize on value. I just wonder whether it can handle playing games with decent thermals but the vapour chamber cooling system has been proven to be very effective across a number of devices over the years so it should be running just fine.
