vivo Malaysia has formally launched the vivo V60 Lite smartphone, supplementing the regular V60 as the cheaper model of vivo’s mid-range lineup with imaging and durability among its main selling points. The smartphone is now open for pre-orders on various official channels.

The vivo V60 Lite features a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with HDR10+ certification and 3,000 nits of peak brightness to cope with outdoor lighting. Inside the smartphone you’ll find a MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo SoC with an option of 8GB or 12GB RAM, along with 256GB or 512GB onboard storage. Camera-wise, the primary sensor is the 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor for main camera, paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 32MP front camera.
Another key feature is the 6500mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging that, according to vivo’s claims, charges the phone from 0-100% in approximately 52 minutes. It also supports bypass charging for gaming and various battery life-extending features, with the battery itself claimed to last 5 years of normal use (i.e. retaining 80% of its original capacity). The device also meets SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance with protection against drops, liquids, and dust.
In terms of V60 Lite’s design, this time around vivo have largely inherited the design from the standard model with minimal changes, with the same camera bump design that diverts itself from the ever-popular full-size camera bumps in the smartphones of late. It’s available in three colors: Pop Pink, Titanium Blue, and Elegant Black.
The vivo V60 Lite is officially priced at RM1,399 for the 8GB+256GB model and RM1,799 for the 12GB+512GB model; customers who pre-order will receive gifts valued up to RM1,199, including vivo Buds, a Holiday Vibes Gift Set, and extended warranty packages.
