Amazfit Bip 3 and Bip 3 Pro: The Affordable Fitness Smartwatch
Amazfit recently introduced the Bip 3 and Bip 3 Pro, two best-valued smartwatches in Malaysia. Except for the change in colour options and the existence of a built-in GPS, which is limited to the Pro type, both devices are nearly identical.
Both watches feature a 1.69-inch square LCD display protected with 2.5D tempered glass with an anti-fingerprint coating, a silicone strap, and a single home button on the side. The standard Bip 3 is available in black, pink, and blue, whereas the Pro is available in black, pink, and cream.
The watches are water-resistant up to 5 ATM, so they can be used while swimming and even track your swimming performance, according to the brand. In terms of data monitoring, the watches can record over 60 different types of fitness routines, including indoor and outdoor walking, jogging, cycling, strength training, yoga, and free training, with capabilities like Target Pace to help you out.
The Bip 3 Pro features five satellite location systems for tracking your outdoor movements, and Amazfit claims that both watches have a battery capacity of 7 to 14 days, based on activity. In terms of customization, the watches come with over 50 watch faces, and users can create their own using the associated Zepp app.
The watches can notify incoming calls and messages, manage your music, show the weather, and function as a camera shutter button. They also have health functions including heart rate tracking, sleep tracking, blood-oxygen saturation (SpO2) measurement, and menstrual cycle tracking.
The Amazfit Bip 3 costs RM199 whereas the Bip 3 Pro costs RM249. The Bip 3 is available at Amazfit’s official Shopee shop however the Pro variant is only available for pre-order.
