HUAWEI Malaysia is set to launch the HUAWEI Watch GT 7 Series on 29 September 2026, comprising the HUAWEI Watch GT 7 and the HUAWEI Watch GT 7 Pro. The former will feature two sizes and seven color options, while the latter is expected to feature three colorways.
HUAWEI Watch GT 7 Series Overview
One of the most notable additions in the HUAWEI Watch GT 7 Series is the exclusive Diabetes Risk Study feature, which is a research initiative led by our very own Universiti Malaya. Using pulse-wave signals collected through the watch’s PPG sensor alongside factors such as age, gender, height and weight, the study aims to assesses potential diabetes risk after three to 14 days of continuous wear.
The series is also expected to introduce the Physical Readiness Score, which combines recovery data, heart rate variability, sleep quality, activity levels and emotional wellbeing into a single daily metric; the Pro model additionally supports CE- and MDA-certified ECG functionality.
For outdoor sports, Enhanced AI-XDR Positioning delivers more reliable route tracking in challenging environments, while Smart Route Reconstruction estimates sections affected by GPS signal loss. The Pro model gains new golf features, including Plays-like Distance and Shot Distance tracking. Cycling tools such as Intelligent Climbing Planning, Sharp Turn Alerts and Lactate Threshold Analysis round out the expanded sports features.
The HUAWEI Watch GT 7 is available in 46mm and 41mm editions, while the HUAWEI Watch GT 7 Pro is 46mm-only with a nano-tech ceramic bezel, a titanium alloy middle frame and sapphire glass for added durability. Both models feature a bright AMOLED display with up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness for improved outdoor visibility. A new EasyCross Strap introduces a clean tuck-under design with a secure and comfortable fit. Battery-wise, both 46mm models offer up to 21 days of runtime, while the 41mm model is good for up to 14 days.

The HUAWEI Watch GT 7 Series will be available starting 29 September 2026 at HUAWEI Experience Stores and through HUAWEI’s official online channels, including the HUAWEI Official Website, the HUAWEI Official Store on Shopee, HUAWEI Flagship Store on Lazada and the HUAWEI Official TikTok Shop. Pricing has not been announced and will be revealed at the official launch.
