It appears that a total of 411 Chinese game companies located in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong has signed the agreement. Wang Biao, the director of the Digital Publishing Institute of the Chinese Academy of Press and Publication has said that the country’s national anti-addiction, real-name authentication platform has been realized.

As the name of the agreement suggest, they aim to keep gaming addiction at bay amongst the people, or in this case, gamers.

It is reported that Tang Jiajun, the Secretary-General of the Game Working Committee has ordered the game companies to actively adhere to the relevant requirements of the states and authorities.
