Xbox Announces Age of Empires Mobile
After celebrating the 25th anniversary of the franchise, Xbox Game Studios have officially announced Age of Empires Mobile.

During the 25th anniversary livestream celebration of the Age of Empires franchise, we received a teaser of Age of Empires Mobile. Unfortunately, not much else was shared about the upcoming game apart from the mention of it coming “soon”, albeit with no specific date.
We’re no idea whether Age of Empires Mobile will be free-to-play with microtransactions or if it will be a paid game. Instead, they revealed Age of Mythology: Retold being in development, and that both Age of Empires 4 and Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition will be coming to Xbox Series X in 2023.
More details on the mobile game will be shared soon but until then, stay tuned for further updates.
Pokdepinion: A part of me hopes that it’s a paid game so we can have the full experience on mobile. I am worried a free-to-play game would have a lot of content locked behind a paywall.
