Another PlayStation-exclusive title makes it debut on PC: Nixxes Software’s upcoming entry, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is coming to PC! The recently two-decades-old franchise joins the ever-growing list of formerly PS-exclusive titles making its way to cater the PC gamers. Rift Apart will start off with a “standalone storyline” which introduces two new characters – Rivet & Kit, with the Nixxes’ Online Community Specialist Julian Huijbregts noting this title will be “an excellent one to start with” for the newly-joined PC players.

The game will support ray tracing (RT reflections & RT shadows), up to triple-monitor ultrawide (48:9) displays with the gameplay and cinematics optimized to these aspect ratios too. Aside from that, you get unlocked framerates, upscaling technologies from all three GPU vendors (NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2, Intel XeSS) plus the in-house solution called Temporal Injection courtesy of Insomniac Games. Additional NVIDIA technologies like Reflex and DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing) is also supported.

PC players will get full mouse and keyboard support, including key remapping; controllers are supported as well, with the DualSense controller getting the same haptic and trigger effects from PS5 version of the game – as long as it’s having a wired connection.
