MultiVersus Open Beta and Early Access Begins July 2022

After much hype on the game, MultiVersus finally has a confirmed open beta and early access period coming your way, and it’s very soon. To be precise, early access begins on 19th July 2022 for those who played the closed alpha and received a code via Twitch Drops, while the open beta phases starts on 26th July 2022.

You get to enjoy MultiVersus for free, which is a great way to try the game out for yourself and compare it to the likes of Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. From what we know, there will be 16 characters for you to choose from including Shaggy, Batman, Bugs Bunny, and Wonder Woman. More characters are expected to arrive in future updates.

There will be a number of modes for you to play, including a 2v2, 1v1, 4-player free-for-all, custom online matches, practice mode complete with tutorials (The Lab), and to fight against A.I. opponents.

At the moment, MultiVersus doesn’t have a finalized release date yet but when it does come out, it will be available on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC.

Pokdepinion: I’m actually really excited about this game, mostly so I have more games to play with friends. I do hope there will be a much larger roster of characters to play when the game goes public.
