Could Sony Be Looking to Acquire Konami to Bolster PS5 Offerings?

If you have been frustrated due to failure of getting yourself a PlayStation 5 console, here is your chance to get one yourself. Sony Malaysia has officially announced the 2nd batch of pre-orders in this country, but you have to be quick.

PlayStation 5 2nd Batch Pre-Orders in Malaysia Confirmed

As announced on the official Sony Malaysia Facebook page, the 2nd batch of PlayStation 5 pre-orders is finally here. It will begin from 8th January 2021 and will be available at Sony Store KLCC and Sony Store The Curve.

The prices for the next gen console will remain the same, with the PS5 Standard Edition with UHD Blu-ray disc drive set at RM2,299 while the PS5 Digital Edition will be priced at RM1,869. There is no indication on how much stock they have for this batch, but they did mention that stock quantity is limited so best be quick if you plan on getting one yourself.

It’s worth noting that PS5 accessories and peripherals will be limited to one for each console pre-ordered. If you plan on making a big purchase, you can only do it for yourself so you can’t simply go and buy for others as well if that was your plan.

The PlayStation 5 2nd batch pre-orders will be available at Sony Store KLCC and Sony Store The Curve from 10AM to 10PM starting 8th January 2021. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, standard operating procedures will still apply so be sure to adhere to social distancing measures, wear a mask, and keep yourself protected.

Pokdepinion: I’m already enjoying my time with the next gen console, and I hope many of you get the chance to do so as well. Be careful, I’m sure scalpers will be hopping on this bandwagon as well.
