Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Release Date Unveiled

When it was first unveiled, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin piqued the interest of many gamers given how radically different it looked from a standard entry of the franchise. Now, we have the release date for the game.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Release Date

Square Enix has officially published an announcement trailer for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, revealing its release date. The game will be launching on 18th March 2022.

The trailer does show off some new things, particularly with bits of gameplay and story plots. If you still remember how the first Final Fantasy game played out, then some of the plots will seem familiar. The fights involving what is presumed to be Shiva, Ifrit, and Tiamat are particularly interesting, especially since the former two are being fought against simultaneously.

Apart from that, Square Enix also shared that there will be another playable demo of the game, and it will be available up to 11th October 2021. Unfortunately, it will only be available on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.

Once again, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin will be launching on 18th March 2022 for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC. Interestingly, it appears to be available exclusively on the Epic Games Store for PC gamers, but no word on whether it’s a permanent or timed-exclusive deal.

Pokdepinion: While I can admit that it looks interesting, I’m still on the fence. I hope it does do enough to differ itself from Dark Souls, otherwise it’s just gonna be the same thing but with different characters, creatures, and storyline.
