DDR5 gaming laptops are now in the market, so I guess you will be looking for upgrades too. Kingston has just announced their Kingston FURY Impact DDR5 SODIMM memory, which feature tighter CL38 timings to deliver improved performance over standard DDR5 SODIMM, which are usually specced for DDR5-4800 CL40.

Kingston FURY Impact DDR5 SODIMM now available from RM354

The Kingston FURY Impact DDR5 memory are designed to deliver high performance as soon as you plug in it, with the Plug N Play automatic overclocking feature. It is also Intel XMP 3.0 certified, allowing for pre-optimized timings, speeds and voltage for overclocking. And of course, it brings all the benefits of DDR5, including 50% higher bandwidth than DDR4 and also higher efficiency, thanks to the low operating voltage of just 1.1V.

The Kingston FURY Impact DDR5 is available in capacities ranging from 8GB to 32GB per module, giving users the ability to full kit their machines with up to 64GB of high-performance memory. The 8GB modules are priced at RM354 each, 16GB at RM650 each and 32GB at RM1242 each. As with all of Kingston’s memory products, the Kingston FURY Impact DDR5 SODIMM modules are covered by a limited lifetime warranty.

Pokdepinion: Prices are somewhat high for now… But I guess it isn’t that bad, considering the improvements in bandwidth and efficiency?
