[MWC2019] HUAWEI To Build HUAWEI AppTouch — A New Digital Services Platform For Global Carriers

HUAWEI has announced at MWC 2019 that they will build a new digital services platform of HUAWEI AppTouch for global cariers, based on existing services.

With it, carriers can provide users with more and better digital content cloud services that includes games, videos, music, information flow and etc.

The Vice President of Mobile Services HUAWEI Consumer Business Group, Jervis Su, has given introduction to the strategic positioning of the brand’s new cloud platform for AppTouch and has said “HUAWEI will continue to provide support for carriers’ digital transformation, with innovative, streamlined business solutions that address customer’s pain points and problems, broaden business boundaries and help customers succeed in business.

HUAWEI AppTouch integrates global digital content ecosystem resources and channel resources, and will become an important part of their Mobile Services.

Up to today, the platform has already been serving more than 60 carriers in over 40 countries. It’s been revealed that current monthly paid users on the AppTouch exceed 20 million.

Among the benefits of HUAWEI AppTouch includes;

  • Globalized ecosystem – Through AppTouch’s aggregration of various contents, carriers can easily access the global ecosystem resources by single-point cooperation with HUAWEI
  • Cloud-based deployment – AppTouch enables carriers to quickly deploy new digital services
  • Multi-channel promotion – Integrates global top marketing channels to help quickly reach users
  • Localized operations – HUAWEI local employees are responsible for marketing and operations to enable local operations in different countries

HUAWEI AppTouch will be officially be released during the Digital Game Conference (DGC) in Dubai which is on the 5th of March 2019.

Pokdepinion: Seems like it makes it convenient for carriers to get access to contents. I wonder how well will the platform be received here in Malaysia..
