You Could Watch Videos Simultaneously With Friends On Instagram In The Future

Now you may have heard about Facebook’s ‘Watch Party’ feature, where it allows Facebook Groups to watch videos together at the same time. It seems that Facebook, who owns Instagram, could implement it to the latter.

Jane Manchun Wong, a reverse-engineering expert, was seen working o a video co-watching feature on the platform. She has said that this feature could be available in Instagram Direct (in video calls). You would then be able to watch videos together from a playlist or videos that’s suggested by Instagram.

Despite the reveal, it may not make its way onto the social media app as Instagram refused to give comment on the feature.

Pokdepinion: I don’t really stay for too long on Instagram but hey, I think that if it did came out, it will certainly make users of the app to spend more time on the app.
