Improve Your Bluetooth Wireless Earphones’ Audio Quality Easily With These Steps

Previously, we talked about the different types of audio codecs used by a lot of the wireless Bluetooth earphones or headphones today and explained about what it does and what’s different between them. However, did you know that you can get your wireless earphones or headphones to sound a little bit better than before? All you have to do is to give your Bluetooth codec settings a little tweak on your Android smartphone. It’s quick and easy and you don’t have to hack or tear down your phone to do it.
Here’s how to do it.
How To Improve Your Bluetooth Wireless Earphones/Headphones’ Audio Quality
Step 1: Enable Developer Options by going to About Phone and tapping on your build number 7 times (tap on MIUI version instead if you’re using a Xiaomi phone).
Step 2: Navigate to Developer Options.
Step 3: Scroll down and tap on Bluetooth Audio Codec.
Step 4: Select the audio codec that’s supported by your wireless earphones or headphones.
That’s it, you’re done and yes it’s that easy. You might want to connect your wireless earphones or headphones first though before you start playing around with your settings.
I might also add that you can play around with the bit rates in the same audio codec section in Developer Options to really get the sound quality of your wireless earphones or headphones to your liking. One thing to note is that not all of the settings are supported by your device and your earphones so if it’s not supported then the settings you have chosen will not work. Besides, even if the settings you chose don’t work, it doesn’t hurt to try.
Happy trying everyone!
