Sony’s Upcoming WF-1000XM5 Has Been Leaked, Earbuds Now Feature Glossy Design
Sony’s upcoming flagship TWS earbuds has now been leaked in its full form: the WF-1000XM5 now gets a different design, upon the first look can be seen with the glossy surface around what is assumed to be touch-sensitive zones for earbud controls.
The image is courtesy of WinFuture.de – which showcases the devices in both Black and Silver colors. Another website The Walkman Blog has revealed some of the key features and specs, with the image below:
Going by what looks like official spec sheet, the WF-1000XM5 supports up to 24 hours of playtime with the case, and fast charging provides one hour of playback with just three minutes of charge. You also get Qi charging, wearing detection, Bluetooth multipoint connection support, among other things. The website also published a superimposed image of XM5 compared with XM4, showing the increased earbuds size:
It’s unclear if the release of WF-1000XM5 is imminent – as the blog author mentions more leak should arrive, if the announcement is very soon. In any case, take these with a pinch of salt as usual, and watch this space.
