Datacenter operator Princeton Digital Group (PDG) has secured approximately US$1.3 billion (around RM5.1bil) in green financing for its JH1 data center campus in Johor, underwritten by six banks: Affin Bank, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC, Standard Chartered, and UOB.

The financing builds on two earlier rounds secured for the JH1 campus: the initial round was arranged with three banks in April 2024, and was subsequently upsized with four banks in October 2025. Proceeds from the latest round will be used to finance the continued development and expansion of the campus.

The financing is structured under PDG’s Green Finance Framework and supports development of JH1 in line with recognized green building standards. The campus has earned Green Building Index (GBI) Gold certification for Design and LEED Gold certification for Operations. Located in Sedenak Tech Park, the JH1 campus is a 200 MW facility designed to support high-density AI and cloud workloads.

This transaction contributes to PDG’s broader plan, announced in March 2026, to raise up to USD 5 billion in debt financing to fund the delivery of contracted data center capacity across Asia Pacific. PDG is backed by global institutional investors including Warburg Pincus, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Mubadala, and Stonepeak. Its total portfolio currently exceeds 1.8 GW across eight countries in the region.
