CelcomDigi has launched the Umrah Roaming Pass, a 15-day roaming bundle priced at RM100 designed for Malaysian pilgrims heading to Saudi Arabia.

The 15-day pass includes 100GB of high-speed data alongside unlimited internet access at speeds of up to 1Mbps; on the voice side, the pass covers unlimited free incoming calls from Malaysia and 30 minutes of outgoing calls, allowing pilgrims to stay in touch with family and handle essential matters while in Saudi Arabia.
The plan’s coverage extends beyond Saudi Arabia to include other Middle Eastern regions, including the UAE, Qatar, Turkiye, Oman and Kuwait, so pilgrims who stopover or travel regionally before or after Umrah remain connected on a single pass. Within Saudi Arabia’s borders, the pass connects to all three major network operators of the country: Zain, Mobily and STC.
Existing CelcomDigi prepaid and postpaid customers can pre-book the pass via the CelcomDigi App up to 14 days before departure. Non-CelcomDigi customers can purchase the CelcomDigi 15-Day Unlimited Umrah Pack or an eSIM through the CelcomDigi Online Store, CelcomDigi Stores or authorized dealers nationwide. The pass activates automatically upon arrival in any covered country, so there is no manual setup required at the destination.
