Samsung's C-Lab Unveils 15 Cutting-Edge Startups at CES 2024

Samsung is set to showcase innovative projects from its C-Lab program at CES 2024, featuring 15 startups and projects, marking the highest number ever featured by the company thus far. The showcase will take place at Eureka Park at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, the primary exhibition space for startups at CES.

CES 2024 is expected to host over 1,000 startups, attracting more than 130,000 visitors. The C-Lab program, initiated in 2012, is used as a platform to gauge market responses. It has since nurtured a total of 872 startups and projects, with 475 through C-Lab Outside and 397 through C-Lab Inside. The 537 C-Lab startups have collectively raised $1 billion in investment.

Among the startups showcased by C-Lab Outside, Dr.Tail, an online veterinary consultation service, has collaborated with Samsung to bring its services to the company’s Smart TVs. Nine other startups will be featured, focusing on AI, energy, and healthcare products. The C-Lab Inside projects include ID.EARS, a healthcare platform analyzing brain waves, and DumboCam, a pet training platform using Vision AI.

The CES 2024 Innovation Awards recognized 23 projects from the C-Lab program, which included one Best of Innovation and 22 Innovation Award honorees. C-Lab startups are positioned to share their knowledge of winning CES Innovation Awards and entering the global market, contributing to their continued success – notably, STUDIO LAB, a startup spun off in 2021, received the CES Innovation Award for its AI-based commerce detail page automation service and automated commerce photography robot.

At CES 2024, sixteen C-Lab Outside startups were named Innovation Award Honorees, while C-Lab Spin-off startups received one Best of Innovation Award and four Innovation Award Honorees. Yellosis and DEEPX, both showcased at the C-Lab booths, each received Innovation Awards in multiple categories, emphasizing the program’s impact on various industries and technological domains.

Pokdepinion: Plenty of innovations to witness in CES, so we should be able to see some highlights this year,  as usual.
