BenQ Debuts The W4000i 4LED 4K Projector In Malaysia

BenQ has officially introduced the new W4000i 4LED 4K projector for the high-end audio-visual enthusiasts, coming with much of the high-end features a projector can offer. The “4LED” stands for four parts of LED, with three of them responsible for each colors (Red, Green and Blue), with the fourth white LED to boost overall brightness (to 3200 lumens) and extends total lamp hours (as each lamp works less).

The projector comes with 4K and HDR capabilities with the ‘HDR-PRO’ tech designed for projectors, with Local Contrast Enhancement used to reveal fine details in bright or dark scenes. The color gamut is touted to cover 100% DCI-P3, and even the new BT.2020 standard (which even the most high-end monitors struggles to achieve). All units comes pre-calibrated with individual color calibration report available in packaging.

Aside from that, the projector can deliver 100-inch equivalent display area from 2.5m of projection distance, 2D lens shift and keystone to fit in various rooms and projection setups. It comes with Android TV built-in, with Netflix pre-loaded.

The BenQ W4000i will be available for purchase at Shopee with the price of RM14,999 from August 15th, 2023 onwards.

(Note – we just received one unit of W4000i with us right now – review coming soon!)

Pokdepinion: Lots to expect from a high-end projector like this one.
