GIGABYTE has unveiled two QD-OLED monitors at CES 2025: the AORUS FO27Q5P features a 500Hz refresh rate – the fastest in the QD-OLED category; there’s also the GIGABYTE MO27U2 which offers the same panel technology in a 27-inch 4K 240Hz specification.

The premium-bound AORUS FO27Q5P is clocks at 500Hz with its QHD (2560×1440) QD-OLED panel, while its pixel response times surpass the current VESA ClearMR 13000 threshold; it will be certified for the upcoming ClearMR 21000 standard that VESA has only just announced right before CES. Additionally, it also comes with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 support, as well as factory-calibrated colors.
Meanwhile, the GIGABYTE MO27U2 packs a 4K QD-OLED panel with 240Hz refresh rate in a 27-inch format, which gives it 166 PPI (pixels per inch) in pixel density. The panel also features Delta E≤2 color accuracy with Pantone Validated certification.
Both monitors will feature GIGABYTE OLED Care, an “AI-based panel protection system” to extend panel longevity; besides that, features like Tactical Switch 2.0 (a feature that switches resolutions and aspect ratios), Night Vision. and Black Equalizer 2.0 are designed to provide competitive advantage for gamers who want the edge in online games.
Pokdepinion: Not much is revealed for now, but I expect top-tier specs elsewhere.
