ASUS Brings ROG STRIX, TUF Gaming & DUAL Lineup Of RTX 4070 GPUs
All models feature dual-BIOS as standard.
ASUS officially introduces the new RTX 4070 GPUs under three product families, including the premium ROG STRIX line, the mainstream TUF Gaming line and budget-focused DUAL lineup (with two versions). All eight models, which include their respective factory-overclocked OC versions, supports dual-BIOS mode and 4-year warranty support.
The ROG STRIX model leads the pack with a new ‘MaxContact’ heatsink, complemented with new 11-blade axial fans that delivers 31% more air volume and 56.3% more static pressure over previous design (from RTX 3080). Like other high-end RTX 4070 models, this comes with the 16-pin 12VHPWR connector; its shroud measures 338.9mm long and 3.12-slot thickness.
Meanwhile, the TUF Gaming RTX 4070 exchanges its shorter card length with ever-so-slightly thicker chassis over the aforementioned ROG STRIX model, at 3.15 slots. It uses the same 11-blade fan seen on other TUF designs, which differs slightly in terms of fan profile when compared against the STRIX card. Gone is the 12VHPWR connector – and in its place is the standard PCIe 8-pin connector.
Finally, ASUS spawned two distinct models under its redesigned DUAL lineup – available in both black and white colorways, the new designs echoes with ASUS’s own entry-level PRIME series motherboard with futuristic sci-fi elements. These dual-fan models feature just 267.1mm card length and a single PCIe 8-pin connector for the power duty, and comes with dual-BIOS as standard.
