ASUS x Noctua Reportedly To Continue Collaboration with RTX 40 Series GPUs
The resulting product may appear as soon as January, in CES 2023.
The editor of Chiphell forum “nApoleon” has posted a thread which claims the card will be shown in CES next month. The graphics model in question however wasn’t specified.
For reference, the first result of this collaboration has produced two models – RTX 3080 and RTX 3070. Instead of bespoke fans that every GPU uses, both models uses standard Noctua NF-A12x25 fans for cooling which, in theory, is directly replaceable. They received critical acclaim for their extremely good cooling and noise performance.
Noctua has since developed a black version named NF-A12X25 PWM chromax.black.swap so it’s unclear whether the upcoming GPU may stick to their known brown-and-pastel colorway or go with the more reserved black-color look instead.
