COLORFUL adds two new models to its lineup, the RTX 4070 Ultra Z OC and RTX 4060 Ti 8GB MINI OC-V; the former of which features a unique PCB design that moves the PCIe 8-pin connector sideways and hidden under a second removable backplate, first seen in Inno3D GPUs that feature similar design.

The iGame GeForce RTX 4070 Ultra Z OC borrows most of its design elements from the company’s Ultra W series of GPUs, however the Ultra Z comes with a slightly modified design thanks to the new PCB layout that moves the PCIe 8-pin connector to the side instead of the front. This allows the cable to hide under the removable magnetic backplate, as with the recent trend to minimize visible cabling in PCs.

Despite only needing the ubiquitous 8-pin connector, the GPU comes included with a white PCIe 8-pin extension cable anyway to “ensure matching colors on white-themed PC builds”. Good news if you’re looking to build a white PC, as most white-colored PSUs aren’t exactly common today. It features the same overclock as Ultra W OC at 2505MHz, though the entire shroud is slightly smaller than the Ultra W model, maintaining its dual-slot form factor.

Meanwhile, the iGame GeForce RTX 4060 Ti MINI OC 8GB-V measuring at 188 x 130.55 x 45.8mm, is a single-fan model of the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB designed for SFF (small form factor) builds. It uses a single 104mm fan to deliver airflow to the 4-heatpipe heatsink for heat dissipation; there’s also RGB lighting available, customizable through iGame Center app. It features 2580MHz boost clock, pre-overclocked from the factory.

Pokdepinion: Looks like split backplate design could be more common in the coming generation.
