[COMPUTEX 2026] GIGABYTE Expands AORUS INFINITY To More RTX 50 Series GPUs, Announced New 40th Anniversary Motherboards

While we’re not seeing new GPUs from NVIDIA, AIB card makers like GIGABYTE still has new designs ready to go. For its 40th anniversary, the brand is introducing the full lineup of AORUS INFINITY series graphics cards at COMPUTEX 2026, following the introduction of the AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 INFINITY earlier this year.

The lineup now includes GeForce RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070 models, all of which feature double flow-through designs like the ones you see on NVIDIA’s Founder Edition cards, in this case branded as WINDFORCE HYPERBURST cooling system, coupled with its “Hawk fan” design that increases air pressure by 53.6% and airflow volume by 12.5% compared to previous implementations. In between both large fans you’ll also find an “Overdrive fan” that kicks in under heavier workloads, and it operates on a separate fan curve, GIGABYTE notes.

GIGABYTE has also redesigned the power connector placement by moving it to the rear side of the graphics card – the layout allows power cables to be routed behind the motherboard tray to reduce visible cable clutter. The AORUS INFINITY series retains the company’s RGB Halo lighting system and nacelle-inspired lighting ring, all while maintaining a relatively compact form factor to support a wider range of PC cases available on the market.

GIGABYTE has also introduced its new AMD-based X870E AORUS INFINITY NEXT and X870 AORUS INFINITY motherboards, supporting memory speeds up to 11,400 MT/s and features company’s AI-enhanced X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 technology.

The X870E model in particular has some truly bleeding-edge tech: its AI Gyroid M.2 heatsink structure – which is produced through 3D metal printing process – is claimed to increase cooling surface area by up to 44%, while a 3D-printed vapor chamber and honeycomb-pattern metal backplate serves similar purposes. “Overbuilt” is probably not enough to describe its VRM system, with a 64-phase power design using Quad OptiMOS components rated to deliver up to 5,120 amps of total current.

Alongside the flagship model, the X870 AORUS INFINITY focuses on memory performance and latency optimization. GIGABYTE stated that the motherboard supports memory timings as low as CL24 (while not mentioned, we assume this is at DDR5-6000 speeds which Ryzen processors typically operates at), which are significantly tighter than conventional configurations, even when taking AMD’s recently-announced EXPO Ultra Low Latency modules into account, which generally hits CL26 timings.
