Looks like Intel has one more card up its sleeve for its Arc B-series “Battlemage” lineup, according to a report from Gazlog (via Wccftech) – this new card will be named Arc B770, acting as the flagship Battlemage-based GPU. If we’re lucky, we may even see the card in Computex 2025, which is now less than two weeks away.

Intel Arc B770 Computex Reveal?

In case you missed it, Intel first revealed the Battlemage desktop GPU lineup late last year with two new GPUs: the Arc B580 and Arc B570. Both cards serve the mid-range competing mainly against NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, although the new flagship, which reportedly will use the currently-unannounced BMG-G31 silicon with up to 32 Xe2 cores and 16GB GDDR6 VRAM, may put its sights on NVIDIA’s upcoming RTX 5060 / RTX 5060 Ti GPU.

Initial sightings of this particular silicon was spotted several weeks ago where it was heading to Intel’s facility in Vietnam, which is responsible for the production of first-party Limited Edition Arc GPUs; Gazlog also points out that there has been increased presence of the silicon in recent shipping records. Hence, it is likely that the new Arc B770 is being prepared for launch in the next quarter.

Despite uncertainties regarding Intel’s commitment in the GPU market (especially as the chipmaker is going through a rough patch in the past several months), and even murmurings of Team Blue cancelling the flagship Battlemage GPU at one point, it looks like the chipmaker is going to press on ahead.

Pokdepinion: Let’s hope we do see the new GPU in action. Imagine a 16GB RTX 5060 competitor!
