NVIDIA has two versions of its RTX 4060 Ti announced back in May – the 8GB version (launched May 24th) and now, the 16GB version is set to launch in July 18th, 2023. This is according to leaks from MEGAsizeGPU, who revealed the internal documents listing the launch date. That said, there’s no word on review embargo just yet.

The company first launched the 8GB version of RTX 4060 Ti back in late May, but the model was heavily criticized for its uncompetitive performance and value. NVIDIA is set to add another $100 on top of the $399 price tag (making this a mid-range card that costs a whopping $499), which is likely to make the value proposition even worse (as both uses the same silicon, differing in VRAM capacity only).

This model will also be only available in AIB models, meaning NVIDIA will not release a Founder’s Edition variant of this GPU. Meanwhile, it looks like there’s no answer from both Team Red and Team Blue just yet, as far as new product releases are concerned.

Pokdepinion: It remains to be seen if NVIDIA might alter launch pricing, but by the looks of it – I’m not holding my breath.
