IQUNIX has announced the EV63 EDG Edition, a new variant of its EV63 gaming keyboard developed in collaboration with EDward Gaming, the Chinese-based esports team best known for VALORANT and League of Legends. It uses EDG’s black-and-gold colour scheme and was refined through five rounds of joint tuning with the team.

The EV63 is used by professional VALORANT teams including EDG, Wolves Esports and the Brazilian organization MIBR, the company noted prominent players such as Grim, Fyr, gokedTV, Subroza, Fugu and Hiko also wield this keyboard. For the EDG Edition, IQUNIX and the team focused the tuning rounds on real gameplay, treating consistency as equally important as outright speed.
The design applies EDG’s identity to the keycaps and the printed details on the case. It includes a 2024 World Championship Star Emblem referencing EDG’s VALORANT Champions 2024 win – the only international accolade for the CN region thus far – along with the 2026 VCT CN Stage 1 Commemorative Keycap to mark the team’s regional title. The set also has two CNC-machined metal keycaps with enamel detailing and gold accents, along with soft-touch frosted PC keycaps. Six EDG Player Cards show moments from the team’s 2026 league season, and exclusive keycaps carry raised player signatures.

The EV63 EDG Edition introduces a new feature called Timing Synchronization System (TSS), which was developed using feedback from EDG. TSS aligns keyboard input processing with the PC’s USB polling cycle to eliminate the last bit of unwanted latency, which IQUNIX says should produce a consistent response and more predictable input during split-second decisions.
With HyperCore V3.1 firmware, the EV63 records an actuation latency of 0.29-0.30ms and a release latency of 0.26–0.27ms. The keyboard also supports 8,000Hz polling, 16,000Hz scanning and 0.01mm Rapid Trigger, while Gamepad Mode translates keypress depth into analog input levels in supported games (i.e. racing). The keyboard uses Magnetic X Ultra switches by default, which IQUNIX says offer stronger magnetic flux and improved signal stability, but third party switches can be installed and calibrated via Smart Switch Adaptation feature.
IQUNIX has not announced pricing or a release date for the EV63 EDG Edition at this time, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
Pokdepinion: No shortage of EDG fans lining up for this one.
