Chinese components maker COLORFUL has introduced the CVN B850I GAMING FROZEN mini-ITX motherboard, featuring geometric slanted lines and military-inspired elements in the compact form factor.

The CVN B850I features a 10-layer PCB and a 9+2+1 phase 60A power delivery system, which COLORFUL says is designed to accommodate top-tier AMD desktop processors such as the Ryzen 9 9950X. The second-generation memory routing design also enables support for up to DDR5-8000 dual-channel DDR5 memory; connectivity features include a Wi-Fi 6E module for wireless connectivity, as well as 2.5GbE LAN port for wired applications.
As it is a mITX motherboard, expansion capabilities are limited to two RAM slots, two M.2 SSD slots, with a single PCIe slot for the graphics card (supports PCIe 5.0). The motherboard comes with the latest CVN graphical BIOS, offering an improved user interface and enhanced features; one-click tuning allows for easy performance optimization, while additional options such as X3D Gaming Mode and Low-Latency Mode are available for specific Ryzen processors to maximize performance.
At the time of publishing, COLORFUL has yet to announce pricing and availability information for this motherboard.
