ASUS ROG has announced a wide range of new products and partnerships at gamescom 2026, spanning esports-grade OLED monitors, gaming mice, keyboards, routers and special edition graphics cards. The announcements coincide with ROG’s 20th anniversary, marked by a dedicated ROG Edition 20 lineup, a charity auction in support of SpecialEffect, and a full schedule of gamescom events featuring Team Vitality.
New ASUS ROG OLED Monitors For Esports
ASUS has expanded its ROG OLED esports monitor lineup with three new 24.5-inch models developed with input from professional players: the ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace, ROG Strix OLED XG259QDPG Ace and ROG Strix OLED XG259QDNS Ace. Every Ace series monitor includes integrated stand measurement scales, a Quick OSD menu, three Esports Color modes and GaNFET power-supply technology to help extend OLED panel lifespan.
The ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace leads the series with a 720Hz refresh rate (said to be the fastest OLED monitor to date), a TrueBlack Glossy Tandem WOLED panel with a 0.02ms response time, up to 1,700 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision support, and an integrated Position Sensor that displays a player’s preferred monitor angles on-screen. It also supports Pro Setting to Share via ASUS DisplayWidget Center, letting players export, import and sync settings across panel types.
This model has been selected as the official monitor of PGL CS2 Major Singapore 2026, marking the first Counter-Strike Major to be held in Southeast Asia and the first to be played on OLED displays. The tournament runs from 24 November to 13 December 2026, bringing 32 top CS2 teams around the world in a fight for Counter-Strike’s most coveted title.
Next, the ROG Strix OLED XG259QDPG Ace uses a 560Hz RGB QD-OLED panel with BlackShield Film and an anti-glare coating, with connectivity including one DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), two HDMI 2.1 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports. The ROG Strix OLED XG259QDNS Ace offers the same QD-OLED and BlackShield Film combination at a more accessible 360Hz refresh rate. The PG259QWS Ace and XG259QWPG Ace (announced earlier at Computex 2026) will be available in early Q4, priced at US$1,099 and US$699 respectively.
ROG also introduced two “Triple Mode” DFR-capable monitors: the ROG Strix XG27UCMG, described as the world’s first 4K triple-mode gaming monitor (supporting 4K 240Hz, QHD 400Hz or FHD 488Hz), and the ROG Strix XG27ACNS, a QHD model offering QHD 475Hz, FHD 620Hz or HD 920Hz modes. Both include a 95% DCI-P3 color gamut, VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, and various gaming features.
New ROG Gaming Peripherals
Moving on, we have the new peripherals – the ROG Gladius IV Ace features a center-balanced 56-gram design with stackable weights for seven configurations, ROG optical micro switches rated for 100 million clicks, and the ROG AimPoint Pro 65K sensor (up to 65,000dpi, 8000Hz polling). It uses ROG SpeedNova 8K Gen II wireless technology and browser-based Gear Link customization, with no additional software required. A larger Gladius IV Ace Max variant is also planned.
The ROG Spatha X 65K is a customizable wireless MMO mouse with 12 programmable buttons, five weight-and-balance configurations, interchangeable switches and tri-mode connectivity (2.4GHz RF, Bluetooth or wired USB), alongside a charging dock that doubles as a wireless receiver; the ROG Raikiri II Pro PC controller offers an 8K polling rate, TMR hot-swappable joysticks with anti-drift, dual-mode triggers and up to 79 hours of battery life in 2.4GHz mode.
Onto keyboards, the ROG Strix Morph 96 X Wireless keyboard features hot-swappable ROG NX V2 switches, dye-sublimated keycaps, tri-mode connectivity and macOS support, while the ASUS TUF Gaming K4 Magnetic keyboard offers hot-swappable magnetic switches with adjustable 0.1–3.3mm actuation and an 8000Hz polling rate. ROG also introduced the ROG Gjallar gaming soundbar with Dolby Atmos audio and built-in Acoustic Echo Cancellation microphones.
Networking products include ROG Rapture GT-BN98, which ASUS says is the world’s first Wi-Fi 8 gaming router – it offers quad-band throughput up to 25Gbps, dual 10GbE and four 2.5GbE ports, AI Game Boost and real-time network monitoring via WiFi Insight. The ASUS ZenWiFi BN12 mesh system delivers up to 19Gbps tri-band speeds with up to 7,000 sq ft of coverage through Smart AiMesh and WiFi 8 Multi-AP Coordination.
Other Collaborations & Activities
ASUS has collaborated with League of Legends champions T1 on the ASUS T1 GeForce RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 Ti graphics cards, featuring T1-themed design elements. The ASUS TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT Onimusha Special Edition, created with AMD and Capcom, draws its design from Onimusha: Way of the Sword and includes a co-branded accessory pack. The ASUS XG Core external graphics card pairs an AMD RX 9060 XT LP GPU with 16GB GDDR6 VRAM in a compact 144×117×39mm form factor for portable AI and gaming workloads.
On the sponsorship side of things, ROG has been named official peripherals sponsor for German esports organization GamerLegion, supplying mice, keyboards, mouse pads and other gear; ROG has also partnered with FPS content creator and former professional Apex Legends player Timothy “iiTzTimmy” An, who will work with the brand on content, product showcases and community activities. A new ROG Ace Esports Instagram channel has also launched to focus on esports-related product news, player insights and tournament updates.
The global Upgrade What Matters campaign runs from 25 August to 31 December 2026, offering giveaways and prizes worth up to US$15,000, including full PC builds and Edition 20 Series peripherals; as part of ROG’s 20th anniversary celebrations, a signed ROG Edition 20 suitcase and limited-edition gear are being auctioned for charity via SpecialEffect on eBay from 25 August to 4 September, with all proceeds going to the charity.
