Razer Stream Controller X Shrinks The Control Surface Into Smaller Sizes
The company’s latest streaming hardware features 15 programmable buttons.
Razer’s new Stream Controller X is here, though unlike most Razer products, it doesn’t make use of the company’s Synapse app for controls. Instead, the customization is handed over to Loupedeck Software, which specializes in designing custom quick access functions for popular apps such as OBS, Twitch, Streamlabs, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop and more. (Loupedeck also sells control surface devices of their own.)
This means that many of the functionalities available to Loupedeck should work right away on Razer Stream Controller X – including plugins and emotes, such as Spotify, Philips Hue, Voicemod, and more that will work right away. The Loupedeck software provides users with native profiles with preset macros and controls so users have a starting point to work with, should they need to tailor it to their own use.
The Stream Controller X uses a detachable 50° anti-slip magnetic stand (on top of 8° native angle) for optimal viewing angle and keeps the device secured in place. It’s now available in Malaysia with the price tag of RM729.
Pokdepinion: Right up my alley – if only I can afford this.
