Kingston is announcing its new DDR5 CUDIMM modules supported by Intel’s new Core Ultra 200S series processors under its premium FURY Renegade CUDIMM lineup.

In case you missed it – CUDIMM, or Clocked Unbuffered Dual In-Line Memory Module, is the new generation of DDR5 memory modules that includes an onboard clock driver (CKD). This component is responsible for keeping the signal integrity in place as memory speeds climb higher – JEDEC specification mandates that these type of modules starts with 6400MT/s at minimum.

Kingston’s offering, meanwhile, will achieve at least 8400MT/s, though one small caveat is that you can only have it in 24GB signal-channel or 48GB dual-channel modules (which can be an added cost if you don’t need more than 32GB of RAM in your system).

A total of 8 SKUs will be available, all at 8400MT/s, in different variants – RGB or non-RGB, 24GB or 48GB kit-of-2, and white or silver color for the heat spreader. They will all ship starting early December this year, Kingston stated.

Pokdepinion: Plenty fast right out of the gate – though I do expect even faster ones to arrive later on.
