Acer used its next@Acer global press conference at IFA 2026 to showcase two compact desktop computing designs aimed at local AI workloads: the Acer SFF RTX Spark, built around NVIDIA’s new RTX Spark processor, and the Acer Veriton RI110, a mini workstation designed for hybrid agentic AI workflows in professional and organizational settings.
Acer SFF RTX Spark
The Acer SFF RTX Spark is a compact desktop design built around the NVIDIA RTX Spark superchip, which combines a 6,144-core Blackwell RTX GPU with a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU in a single platform. The design offers up to 1 petaflop of AI compute performance and up to 128GB of unified memory, which allows users to run agentic AI workloads locally rather than through cloud services. In any case, it shouldn’t be too far off from the GB10-based Veriton GN100 AI given that the silicon is fundamentally the same as the consumer-facing RTX Spark.

Meanwhile, the Acer Veriton RI110 AI Mini Workstation pairs an Intel Core Ultra X7 processor 358H with Intel Arc B390 graphics, up to 96GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 4TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. Acer said the system is capable of supporting AI models of up to 120 billion parameters.
A key feature of the Veriton RI110 is its OCuLink connectivity, using a dedicated PCIe 4.0 x4 interface to support external GPU and high-speed NVMe storage expansion at up to 64Gbps of bandwidth. OCuLink, a relatively rare I/O standard that is only present in some gaming handhelds (particularly Chinese-built models), provides lower latency than traditional expansion connections such as Thunderbolt by enabling a more direct link to external devices.
The workstation supports sandbox environments for running local AI agents with data privacy controls. Acer has also introduced Acer Qubi Claw as its agentic AI tool designed to run local workflows in an isolated sandbox environment, which Acer says will continue to expand its supported AI models, skills and channels over time.
The Acer Veriton RI110 AI Mini Workstation will be available in North America in Q4 2026 and in EMEA in Q1 2027. Availability for the Acer SFF RTX Spark design will be announced separately at a later date.
