Samsung Malaysia and Yayasan Didik Negara (YDN) formalized a strategic collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) exchanged on 25 July 2026. As part of the collaboration, Samsung will provide “Mobile Experience” devices (which is Samsung speak for smartphones, tablets, wearables and the likes), displays and interactive smartboards to support digital learning infrastructure.

The partnership will be supported through Samsung for Education, a framework combining technology, learning solutions and educator training. Planned initiatives include smart classroom experiences, teacher digital training, STEM-related programs and other learning activities aimed at developing digital skills among students.

Planned activities under the partnership may include Samsung AI Classroom showcases, STEM and AI-focused learning sessions, interactive smartboard demonstrations, and student innovation programs providing exposure to emerging technologies. Through Samsung for Education, the collaboration will also focus on technology adoption and educator capability development.
