VCT Pacific announced a collaboration with Korean-American artist and songwriter Audrey Nuna for the Stage 2 anthem titled “superHuman.” The song marks Audrey Nuna’s second collaboration with VALORANT and is now released globally on major streaming platforms, and you can also watch the music video here. VCT Pacific Has A New Theme
“superHuman” is Audrey Nuna’s first solo release since her 2024 project TRENCH. The track was produced with Cirkut, known for previous work with artists including Rihanna, Lady Gaga and The Weeknd. In case you hadn’t realized yet (or if the name seemed familiar to you), the singer is responsible for “Golden” from the Netflix smash-hit K-Pop Demon Hunters released last year.
The song is described as a rap-influenced anthem incorporating themes of confidence and self-assurance. The release follows Audrey Nuna’s earlier VALORANT collaboration, “TOXIC,” produced with King Mala for a previous VCT Pacific stage (and acts as the Season V26 opening theme).
“superHuman is a portal. I wrote this song at a time in my life where a lot was changing very quickly, and I felt more perceived by the world than I ever had before,” said Audrey Nuna. “I wanted to capture that feeling – of redemption, of validation, of the tides finally turning. In the same breath, I wanted to quietly remind myself and others to stay human, stay open, to flow like water through all of the changes and that being more human will always be a superpower if we allow it.”
VCT Pacific Stage 2 runs from 16 July to 6 September, held in Seoul, South Korea, with the Finals weekend taking place in Busan for the first time – remember, for this occasion only before the 2027 revamp, this stage will offer tier 2 teams from regional Challenger leagues to compete against incumbents in Stage 2 Play-Ins, where they can compete for a chance to enter Valorant Champions Shanghai later this year.
