Microsoft Copilot App Is Now Available On iOS As Well, Following Android Release

Just last week, Microsoft silently released its new ChatGPT-based virtual assistant, Copilot, to Android devices; and now the app is also available in iOS and iPadOS devices as well.

Like its Android counterpart, this app gets you access to the same AI found on the web (previously named Bing Chat) and comes with the usual features you get on the web, including a text-to-image generator (powered by OpenAI’s DALL-E 3 model). It’s worth noting that Copilot runs on GPT-4 – which you are required to pay a monthly fee for if you access it through OpenAI’s own chatbot service (and offers GPT-3.5 on the free tier).

Microsoft’s Copilot AI has found its way into many of its services and offerings, including Microsoft Office, Windows 10 (after backtracking a decision to end feature updates), Windows 11, and the web too. Its main rival, Google Bard, is looking to compete with the new Gemini language model.
