The Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2026 opened on 12 June 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), marking its 11th edition here in the Malaysian soil; the event is organized by the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA), running under the theme “Beyond Mobility.”

The opening ceremony was officiated by Deputy Minister of Transport Datuk Haji Hasbi bin Haji Habibollah, and attended by over 900 guests including government representatives from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES) and the Ministry of Investment, Trade, and Industry (MITI).
“Around the world, we are witnessing rapid advancements in electrification, connected technologies, intelligent transport systems, automation, road safety, and alternative energy solutions,” said the deputy Transport Minister. “As we speak about the future of mobility, safety must remain at the center of our agenda. New mobility must not only be cleaner and more connected; it must also help reduce crashes, protect vulnerable road users, and support safer behavior on our roads.”
The show features 18 automotive brands – notably, lacking presences from western automakers this time – with names including Toyota, Nissan, Zeekr, Honda, Hyundai, Maxus, Jetour, Proton, and Perodua presenting new car launches, model previews, and concept vehicles. KLIMS 2026 is said to primarily position itself around electrified vehicle (xEV) adoption and green technology, in line with the country’s energy transition goals.
Visitors can participate in various automotive and lifestyle activities throughout the event, and a prize draw offers a total prize pool worth RM125,000, with a Perodua Bezza as the grand prize.
