NEXEN TIRE has officially launched two new tire ranges in N’BLUE S and N’FERA PRIMUS UX for Malaysian motorists, with a focus on wet-weather and high-performance driving respectively. Both ranges carry the brand’s EV ROOT mark, confirming compatibility with electric vehicles as well as conventional, but heavier, internal combustion engine vehicles.
NEXEN N’BLUE S & N’FERA PRIMUS UX Range

The N’BLUE S is a touring tire engineered around wet-weather performance. Its tread pattern channels water away from the contact patch to reduce the risk of aquaplaning, while a low rolling resistance construction contributes to lower fuel consumption. The tire is already fitted as original equipment on selected models including the Volkswagen Golf and Audi A3, and is available in Malaysia across 110 sizes spanning 14 to 17-inch rim diameters.

The N’FERA PRIMUS UX sits in the ultra-high-performance segment, featuring a reinforced construction designed to maintain stability at highway speeds, and delivers approximately 20% improved tread wear over its predecessor. Built around what NEXEN calls a “One Universal Fit” strategy, the tire is designed to suit vehicles from European, Japanese, South Korean, and Chinese manufacturers.
Both models carry the “EV ROOT” mark, indicating they are engineered to handle the heavier curb weights and instant torque characteristics of electric vehicles without requiring a separate EV-specific variant.
Buyers of both ranges are covered under the NEXEN TIRE Exchange Program, which provides six months of unconditional one-to-one replacement against eligible road hazard damage. Customers are required to register their tires at the point of purchase through participating distributors to activate coverage. NEXEN TIRE Malaysia has also indicated it is developing its own warranty program to further strengthen customer support, with details to be announced at a later date.
Pokdepinion: Picking the right tires is just as important as maintaining good safety practices, so don’t skimp on this one.
