ASUS Launches Limited-Edition DOOM-Themed ROG Astral RTX 5080 Graphics Card

ASUS has announced a collaboration with Bethesda and id Software to commemorate the 30th anniversary of ASUS graphics cards – as part of this initiative, the brand has unveiled the limited-edition ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 DOOM Edition graphics card, themed after the upcoming title DOOM: The Dark Ages.

The ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 DOOM Edition will be available exclusively through the Bethesda Gear Store (you can purchase it right here). It will be bundled with themed merchandise including a T-shirt, mouse mat, yellow key card, an in-game DOOM Slayer Legionary skin exclusive to ROG, and the option to include the Premium Edition of the game itself (which adds €110 on top of the €1999.99 list price).

This DOOM-themed GPU features a green and gold color scheme with DOOM Slayer-inspired artwork on the backplate and green fans modeled after the Shield Saw weapon, along with gold accents on the mounting bracket and heatsink, with game-specific iconography and sentinel designs. As far as performance is concerned, it behaves the same as the standard ROG Astral RTX 5080 card, which is sufficient to run the game at 4K60 Ultra preset per its system requirements.

Of course, given the general scarcity of RTX 50 GPUs today (not to mentioned the limited nature of this special run), each customer can only pre-order one unit of this bundle and expect deliveries starting by the end of July 2025. The game provided in this bundle will be in the form of digital key for Steam, with all the Premium Edition perks included.
