Infinix has announced that the Infinix GT 30 smartphone will debut in Malaysia on 11 September 2025. Notably, the company touts its “GT Trigger” feature, a hidden capacitive shoulder button acting as macros for gaming and camera use, which already is present in the GT 30 Pro launched earlier this year.

Infinix GT 30 Coming Soon

Not much is said about the GT 30’s specs in the company press release, though there are some numbers: the smartphone is equipped with a 144Hz AMOLED display and powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, the combination of which has received “high-frame-rate certifications across ten leading mobile titles,” including PUBG Mobile and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, supporting up to 120FPS.

Based on the teaser image, it looks like the smartphone has no visual distinction from the Pro variant, aside from different colors, which consists of Cyber Blue, Pulse Green, and Shadow Ash options. In Infinix’s words, this design language is called “Mechanical Light Waves styling,” and there are seemingly bits of RGB lighting involved as well.

As part of its launch, Infinix confirmed its continued involvement in Malaysia’s esports ecosystem, with the already-launched GT 30 Pro designated as the official gaming smartphone of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia Season 16 (MPL MY S16). The company is also partnering three teams in the competition: Homebois, Monster Vicious, and Aero Esport.
