Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 Lands In Malaysia, Now Available In Acer Stores
Acer has launched its newest gaming laptop, the Predator Helios Neo 16 (PHN16-71), in Malaysia. The laptop comes with up to Intel Core i7-13700HX CPU and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU (up to 140W TGP), making it a fairly capable gaming machine. Additionally, the device comes with 16GB of DDR5-4800 RAM and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. It also features a 165Hz 16-inch display (up to QHD+ 16:10) driven by NVIDIA Advanced Optimus and G-SYNC, plus 100% sRGB gamut coverage.
The laptop’s custom-engineered all-metal AeroBlade fan technology and liquid metal thermal grease helps with heat dissipation; on the outside, the Predator Helios Neo 16 with laser-etched encrypted codes on its black anodized cover that “encourages gamers to decipher the hidden message”, though it’s unclear what message is hidden in there – but knowing the Internet, it won’t be long until someone manages to decipher it.
The laptop is now available at Acer eStore and Acer official stores on Shopee and Lazada, with prices starting at RM4,899. Additionally, customers who place their orders before 8 May 2023 at selected concept stores will receive freebies worth over RM900, including a Predator Urban Gaming Backpack V2, a Predator Cestus 330 Gaming Mouse, a Predator Snapback Cap, and an Acer SuperCare 2 that provides 3 years on-site warranty with accidental damage and theft coverage.
Pokdepinion: I/O looks pretty good to me, especially with Thunderbolt ports (granted, docks aren’t cheap).
